Junior Achievement of Middle America seeks to form mutually beneficial, long-term partnerships with corporations that can offer reach, revenue and continuity to support JA's brand and its organizational priorities within the Kansas City Metro Area.

Companies who allow their employees to get involved with the community are star employers. There are two ways for employers to have their employees get involved:

• Volunteering their time in the classroom
• Volunteering or participating in special events

Adopt-A-School

Many companies enjoy adopting an entire school. Meaning they provide the volunteers and funds to provide JA to all or part of a school. To discuss school sponsorship opportunities, please contact our Development Director, Laura Pfeifer at 816-561-3558 x14 or lpfeifer@jamidamerica.org.

Matching Gifts

Many companies will match the donations made by their employees and their spouses and retirees. Your company may increase or even double your gift to Junior Achievement of Middle America. Please check with your Human Resources or personnel office to determine if your gift to JA qualifies for a matching gift from your company.

Other Corporate Giving Ideas

Many local businesses hold casual day or jeans day and the proceeds are donated to Junior Achievement of Middle America. When employees make a donation for dressing in jeans or casual clothes, JA can provide the HR department with stickers or buttons to give to the participating employees.
